Anna+Jordan flew me to photograph their San Francisco engagement photography in June. We decided on an afternoon tour of San Fran, hitting up a few of their favorite spots since moving to the city two years ago. First, The Fairmont Hotel, a grand and opulent hotel with marble and gold everywhere. I loved the mirrors and grand staircase. Anna’s cocktail dress was stunning and was the perfect amount of bridal.
We then headed to Cavallo Point, where old military houses and the Golden Gate Bridge make a statement. This is when Karl the Fog rolled in and with it, hurricane like winds. The temp dropped drastically but they hung in there and humored me as I told them I was loving how it was looking still. They changed outfits to warm up and we continued on. Our next stop was Legion of Honor and Sutro Baths. You guys, holy cow, Sutro Baths is amazingly cool! The sun started to come out just enough to make it feel like it was a warm summery day – I didn’t know this but June is one of the Bay’s coldest months! We had a ton of people to dodge, the wind to work with and Anna was freezing (but again, looked amazing in her floral maxi). It was a challenge but WOWZA, I LOVE the images I made. Sutro is on my short list for top San Francisco engagement photography locations. I couldn’t be more in love with their collection.
